The 2026 ICT Summer Boot Camp at CIDJAP, Enugu, has come to a joyful close. This issue is dedicated entirely to their journey.

The Full Story of Our First Cohort

From arrival day at King's Kids Comprehensive Secondary School — where students first chanted "We rise, we lead, we impact!" — through five weeks of hands-on training at Verbum Networks, CIDJAP, this cohort covered real ground: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CorelDRAW and Photoshop; and semantic tags, navigation, and layout in web development. Four Web Development students received brand-new laptops mid-program, a Week 4 wellness outing gave the whole cohort a Saturday to relax, bond, and win motivational books in a Bible quiz, and the program closed on September 11th with certificates, a leadership seminar, and standout student presentations.

From the Closing Address
"You are now part of that ripple. That's how a fifteen-dollar donation in 1982 became a foundation that has now helped a thousand students. It didn't stop with one person."
— Donnie Chukwuemeka Ikpa, IT Strategist & Cloud Technology Mentor, closing address (delivered live via Google Meet)

Urgent Need

Computers and Laptops for Our Graduates

Skills fade without practice. Several of our strongest graduates — including our student stars above — now need a computer of their own to keep building on what they learned. If you have a fairly good used laptop sitting idle, it could become the tool that shapes a young person's career.
